Follow-up

Following the recommendations of Working Group I of the conference "Towards Interoperability in Crisis Management" , President Ahtisaari has sent an Open Letter to Secretary General Kofi Annan, High Representative Javier Solana, Commissioner Christopher Patten, Secretary General Jan Kubis, Secretary General George Robertson, and Chairman of the EU Military Committee, General Gustaf Hägglund, describing the results of the conference and asking them to name a senior official from their staff to deal with interoperability questions and with the ITCM process.
