ITCM Conferences

ITCM-conferences are designed to explore how the application of new ICTs can best support international crisis management efforts. The unique feature of the conferences is the creative mixture of professionals from the crisis management and information technology communities.

In order to advance the co-operation between different stakeholders, the project has created an international thematic network which represents governments, crisis management organisations, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), industry and research institutes. Members of the network meet in various formats to work, share information and take stock of the progress made. A key format has been a series of conferences, designed to explore how the application of new ICTs can best support international crisis management efforts.
